Recent Class Events

Here is where you'll find news of recent class events. If you missed a reunion or one of our informal gatherings, we'll tell you what you missed.

50th Reunion

Details are still being worked out, but mark your calendars for September 18, 2018. The reunion will be held at the Grays Harbor Country Club.

The Temptations in concert

June 6th was the date for another informal gathering of '68 class members as The Temptations entertained a full house at the D&R Theater.

45-year Reunion

Our 45-year reunion started with an informal gathering at the 40 et 8 on Friday, September 20, 2013. The club was very welcoming for our group, and special thanks go to John Prudhomme for making the arrangements. The atmosphere was friendly and informal. John Louderback showed up with his new bride having gotten married earlier that day. Now that's dedication to your high school class.

The formal reunion was held at the Grays Harbor Country Club in Central Park with over 100 class members in attendance. The weather was great. The class picture can be found on the New Photos page. The Country Club provided the food and beverage service. Old friendships were renewed as everyone tried to get caught up on the past few years. Some thought the party started at 4:20, but hey...we're all products of the 60s. No gatoring was observed.

Peter Noone Concert July 21, 2012

This was one of our informal gatherings. The recently restored D&R Theater in Aberdeen hosted a concert by Peter Noone and Herman's Hermits.

Class members met for a social time and dinner before the concert at Mazatlan Restaurant. Name badges with the British flag were passed out along with a variety of glow sticks in AHS colors. Photos can be found on the New Photos page. Note the class photograph taken outside the D&R.

The concert was excellent. Peter Noone was a very personable entertainer and made you feel like a long lost friend. Some other graduating classes had blocks of seats, but the Class of '68 was the largest and most enthusiastic. A great time was had by all.
